What we see in the market
Many of the industry's good factories were founded in the 1990s by people now approaching the age when questions about what comes next arise. Some have successors. Some don't. Some have capacity and orders but not the capital for the next line. Others have the technology but not the market.
At the same time, strategic buyers from the West, furniture groups, house builders, industrial investors, are looking for production in Central and Eastern Europe: close to their markets, with raw material, with people who know wood. They don't easily find whom to ask.
“We have known these factories through our media for years. We know who is looking for a partner before the factory puts out a notice.”
What we do
A discreet showcase. Factories seeking capital, a partnership or a strategic buyer are presented to qualified investors without public names, with the essentials: what they make, capacity, markets, what they are looking for. Nothing appears on this site.
Introductions. When interest is mutual, we make the introduction and accompany the first conversations, in the investor's language. The rest belongs to the parties and their advisers: lawyers, valuers, banks.
What we don't do. We don't manage funds, broker financial instruments or value companies. Our fee is on a successful introduction, agreed in advance with both sides.
